Job summary

A leading technology consulting firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer. Your primary responsibilities will include managing Kubernetes clusters, integrating container security solutions, and implementing platform automation. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in DevOps with strong expertise in Kubernetes architecture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes architecture and operations (preferably v1.20+).
• Proven experience managing production-grade Kubernetes clusters with Rancher.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters using Rancher across production and non-production environments.
• Integrate and manage NeuVector for container security, including runtime scanning, policy enforcement, and vulnerability management.
• Implement platform automation using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with security, networking, and development teams to define and enforce policies across containerized platforms.
• Build and maintain observability solutions for monitoring, logging, and alerting, along with operational dashboards.
• Contribute to incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and performance optimization activities.
• Optionally support HCI platform operations and virtual machine orchestration leveraging tools such as Harvester.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 6 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes architecture and operations (preferably v1.20+).
• Proven experience managing production-grade Kubernetes clusters with Rancher.
• Solid understanding of container security best practices and operational use of NeuVector.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Helm, Ansible).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.).
• Proficient in Linux systems administration, networking, and shell scripting.
• Working knowledge of monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd, ELK, Loki, etc.).
