FLARE CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms supporting a major government ministry. The role blends greenfield projects with modernization of legacy systems in a hybrid work setting.

You will collaborate with software engineers to implement IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration using Docker, ECS, and EKS, while prioritizing security and observability.

Qualifications

Cloud platforms: AWS including EC2, ECS, EKS, VPC/Networking.
IaC: Terraform or OpenTofu.
Containers: Docker and Kubernetes.
CI/CD: GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Operations: Production ops, incident response, observability.
Security: IAM, encryption, authN/authZ, audit logging.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Write and manage IaC using Terraform or OpenTofu.
Build and maintain GitLab CI pipelines for deployments.
Containerize apps with Docker and orchestrate via ECS and EKS.
Implement observability and incident response for production systems.
Enforce security across the stack including IAM and encryption.
Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot across app and infra layers.
Modernize legacy apps and platforms; low-code experience a plus.
