Job summary

ST Engineering Cloud and Data Centre Solutions Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Cloud Engineer with 1-2 years of hands-on AWS cloud experience and IaC using Terraform to design, implement, and automate scalable cloud infrastructure for enterprise workloads.

You will develop Terraform templates, implement CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable deployments and ongoing optimization of cloud resources.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or DevOps.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services (compute, storage, networking, IAM, and monitoring).
• Proven experience in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, VPC design, security groups, and IAM policies.
• Familiarity with Linux administration and scripting (Bash or Python).
• Experience with Git-based workflows and version control practices.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudWatch) following security, scalability, and cost optimization best practices.
• Develop and maintain Terraform templates/modules to automate cloud resource provisioning and configuration.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud systems for reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to enable smooth deployment and compliance.
• Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Maintain documentation, version control, and configuration management across environments.
• Participate in architecture discussions, proof-of-concepts, and ongoing improvements to infra automation.
