Job summary

CoreTRM is hiring a Senior Developer to join a multinational team building a modern cloud-native platform for commodity/energy trading. The role focuses on architecture, coding in C#, frontend enhancements, and ensuring robust, scalable services for global customers.

You will work with a dynamic team to deliver features, improve user experience, and support deployments in a fast-paced environment. Prior industry knowledge is not mandatory but helpful.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and analytical skills; thrive in dynamic environment.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience of coding in C#.
• Knowledge of REST API, JSON, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server.
• Ability to write efficient and maintainable code.
• Knowledge of the oil or commodities trading industry is not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Work with the development team in architecture, design, development, code review, testing and maintenance.
• Enhance UI/UX for CoreTRM product and website using modern frontend practices.
• Maintain and improve the code quality.
• Design and implement scalable applications and services with CI/CD using the cloud.
• Work on new features and enhancements.
• Assist the support centre to resolve complex issues and fulfill client requests.
• Collaborate with the implementation team on rollout and client improvements.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance.

Responsibilities

• Work with the development team in the architecture, design, development, code review, testing, and maintenance of CoreTRM, including improving the end user experience and AI adoption.


• Enhance UI/UX for CoreTRM product and website by applying modern frontend practices


• Maintain and improve the code quality


• Design and implement scalable applications and services with continuous integration and deployment using the cloud


• Work on new features and enhancements


• Help the support centre when needed to resolve complex support issues and meet new clients’ requests


• Liaise closely with the implementation team on development issues related to the roll‑out of the CoreTRM product, as well as any new client requests/improvements of the product.


• Work with the development team in the architecture, design, development, code review, testing, and maintenance of internal software/applications


• Continuously assist the company in its development and adoption of tools that drive greater automation, efficiency and productivity


• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers in the team


• Other ad-hoc duties when required

Requirements
