JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Senior Designer whose principal role will be to lead design on a number of hospitality and residential projects spanning the globe. Working closely with the Design Director, the candidate will be responsible for both leading a team as well as generating designs through a hands-on approach. Excellent design, presentation and creative skills are a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing all aspects of the building or resort from Concept onwards.
• Establishing design intent through sketches and mood images as required
• Researching new design strategies and methods to ensure that the projects are innovative and market-leading
• Overseeing the production of design presentations with strong graphics and visual representations of the architecture
• Managing a team of intermediate and junior designers to ensure quality and timely submission of design packages for internal and Client review
• Liaising with Client and Consultants on matters of design, technical coordination & regulations

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 8 years experience as a designer/architect for diverse project types;
• Strong track record in Hotel and Residential projects;
• Familiarity with hotel operator standards; practical knowledge of international building codes and standards;
• Able to do freehand sketches and possess good command of Sketchup and Revit;
• Excellent communication skills in English;
• Able to work independently with good time management;
• Possess creative ideas and proven track record of design portfolio;
• Proven track record of translating concepts into built work.
