A leading aerospace company is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to oversee product design compliance with airworthiness standards. The role involves developing products from design to troubleshooting while collaborating with the R&D team. Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 3 years' experience in mechanical design.
Job Responsibilities: -
Ensure that the product design is in compliance with the airworthiness requirements.
Responsible for the technical aspects of product development, ensuring products meet requirements, are manufacturable and are high quality. This includes tasks from design and testing to troubleshooting and leading teams.
Work closely with the R&D team in designing, preparing and conducting test in new product developments.
Manage project schedule timely.
Carry out products fundamental engineering calculations such as mechanics and thermal properties.
Liaise with aircraft manufacturers and airline for product development and certifications.
Job Requirement: -
Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
Must be able to communicate in English and Mandarin.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in mechanical and product design.
Knowledge of product design, solid mechanics and material science.
Familiar with FAA or EASA design data approval procedures and airworthiness regulations, such as FAR/ CS 25, 21, 145 etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Independent and self-motivated.
