Job summary

Wide Wings is seeking an Design Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant design experience in civil and structural infrastructure works, including underground structures. The role focuses on the design and coordination of twin-box/cut-and-cover tunnels, and interfaces with at-grade infrastructure while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will also review designs, prepare technical submissions, and coordinate with contractors to resolve design issues for smooth project execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant design experience in civil and structural infrastructure works.
• Experience with twin-box/cut-and-cover tunnels and underground structures.
• Experience in design review, technical submissions, and contractor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Apply civil and structural design expertise to underground infrastructure.
• Design and coordinate twin-box and cut-and-cover tunnels to project specs.
• Develop structural elements for temporary and permanent works.
• Manage interfaces between underground structures and at-grade infrastructure.
• Plan provisions for future underground structures.
• Conduct design reviews for technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and submit technical documentation for approvals.
• Coordinate with contractors to resolve design issues and enable project execution.
