Position Summary

The Senior Database Administrator supports MySQL, MSSQL, AWS RDS, and Aurora platforms, including troubleshooting, monitoring, optimization, migration, security, reporting, and automation. The role involves supporting cloud-native data services and ensuring data quality.

Role Mission

Build long-term relationships by delivering market-leading managed services. The DBA will be part of the Data and AI practice, supporting data transformation projects and working with a distributed team, with options for remote or office work.

Responsibilities
  1. Deliver large-scale data migration and modernisation projects.
  2. Support and manage environments for key customers.
  3. Mentor engineers and resolve complex support issues.
  4. Engage with stakeholders in technical and commercial discussions.
  5. Deliver workshops and produce technical content.
  6. Collaborate with teams to ensure excellent customer service and growth.
Candidate Profile

Positive mindset, collaborative, eager to learn, customer-focused, and proficient in MySQL, MSSQL, AWS RDS & Aurora, and cloud-native database management. Experience with cloud environments like AWS and Azure, and knowledge of related tools and security models, are essential.
