Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science/IT or related field.
• 10+ years in IT with 8+ years in middleware webhosting and app server products in a large org (banking environment preferred).
• Solid knowledge administering databases: Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres, CockroachDB, Cassandra, NeptuneDB, etc.
• Experience in IT security compliance and SSL/server certificates.
• Proficient in Python, Ansible, SQL and Shell/Perl scripting.
• Unix system administration with understanding of networks and storage.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on with at least one public cloud: AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Self-motivated, able to work autonomously, good communication with internal customers and team members.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient in Linux/Unix and Windows.
• Experience managing support services and change management with ServiceNow.
• Experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or equivalent.

• Skilled database and application development professional with at least 10 years of experience in IT and at least 8 years of hands-on experience in middleware webhosting and application server products in a large organization, preferably banking environment.
• Solid knowledge in administering Database products i.e. Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres, CockroachDB, Cassandra, NeptuneDB etc.
• Experience in IT security compliance and implementation and use of security protocols (SSL, Server certificates etc.).
• Good experience using Python, Ansible, SQL and Shell/Perl Scripting.
• Experience with Unix system administration with understanding of underlying network and storage technologies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Hands on experience in at least one public Cloud, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
