Job summary

DELTEQ PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Senior Database Administrator/ Senior Database Engineer. You will manage SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases, build CI/CD pipelines for deployments, and drive HA/DR, backups, and performance tuning across DEV/QA/UAT/Prod environments.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience and a degree or diploma in a relevant field, with a 9‑month contract offering full family medical benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.
• Familiarity with Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL and high availability setups.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure and support SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases across environments.
• Design, build, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for DB deployments.
• Plan and execute production deployments with change control and minimal downtime.
• Implement and maintain HA/DR, backups, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Perform performance tuning, index optimization, and query optimization.
