Job summary

OLAM INTERNATIONAL LIMITED in Singapore seeks a Senior Data Scientist to drive analytics across manufacturing, procurement, sales, sustainability, and supply chain. You will analyze data, identify patterns, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

You will design ML models, apply optimization techniques, and create dashboards in Power BI or Tableau. The role also involves leading data science projects from scoping to deployment, maintaining models in production, and communicating

Qualifications

MS/PhD in computer science, statistics, or operations research or related technical discipline.
Minimum 5 to 8 years of work experience in data science or statistical roles.
Strong knowledge of machine learning, statistics, and optimization.
Proficient in Python and SQL with experience in SparkML, H2O, FlinkML, TensorFlow, Pandas, R, Matlab.

Responsibilities

Work with business users to analyse large data sets, identify patterns, and develop insights.
Design and implement machine learning models to solve business problems.
Develop optimization techniques to improve decision-making across supply chain and operations.
Create visualizations using Power BI or Tableau to communicate results.
Manage data science projects end-to-end from conception to deployment.
Maintain and monitor analytical models after production deployment.
