Job summary

SPH Media Limited is seeking data scientists across all seniority levels to translate complex data science into practical, high-impact solutions for a fast-moving media business. You will lead projects end-to-end, scale ML capabilities, and inform strategic decisions across multiple lines.

We require a strong track record in production-grade ML, NLP, recommender systems, and MLOps. Collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams is essential to deliver tangible value.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience building and managing high-performance Data Science teams.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience building and deploying production-grade machine learning models with measurable business impact.
• Expertise in recommendation systems, NLP, LLMs and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), knowledge graphs, or time-series forecasting; production at scale preferred.
• Experience in the media or internet industry is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from conception through development, deployment, and iteration.
• Scale ML capabilities, strengthen AI-driven data infrastructure, and inform strategic decisions.
• design, develop, and maintain robust ML models that drive business growth.
• Collaborate with data engineering to design and maintain data pipelines for model training and deployment.
