Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Data Science Engineer in Singapore to apply mathematical, statistical, and domain knowledge to uncover patterns and build predictive models for products and services.

You will collaborate with Data Scientists, Engineers, and UX teams to identify questions and develop data-driven solutions. You will develop software and automated processes to cleanse and analyze large, diverse data sources, supporting production metrics optimization and strategic decision

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or equivalent with strong programming and modeling capabilities.
Semiconductor operations digital twin experience is preferred.
Experience in semiconductor or manufacturing operations simulation modeling (discrete event) is required.

Responsibilities

Design and implement methods to analyze unstructured big data and generate actionable insights.
Interact with product and service teams to define questions for data analysis and experiments.
Develop software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from diverse sources.
Identify meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources.
Communicate findings to product, service, and business managers.
