Job summary

PhysicsX, a deep-tech company, is hiring a Principal Data Scientist (Algorithm Engineer) in Delivery to lead data-driven engineering solutions. You will work with Simulation and Machine Learning engineers and customers to embed AI models into engineering tools, driving practical, production-ready data pipelines and models.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field with strong modelling background.
• Hands-on experience deploying AI models in production settings.
• Proven ability to lead data science initiatives and customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical initiatives and embed AI models with customer tools on-site.
• Architect deep learning models and optimisation methods for physical systems.
• Own data pipelines, model quality, and impact of deliverables.
• Mentor junior data scientists and guide cross-functional teams.
• Present findings to technical teams and customers, travel 2–3 weeks/quarter.
