Job Description

• Expert in a defined field, recognized by immediate colleagues and a broad community while maintaining strong broad expertise in general data science techniques.
• Act as a lead and technical mentor for individual projects developed by other experts/teams.
• Can identify and drive reusable analytics components, and create blueprints, libraries, and frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data-driven opportunities and develop actionable insight on how to measure business impact.
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data science projects to meet business objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate the health of analytics models in production and development, and propose improvements.
• Run self-dependently small products/services or sub-parts of large projects.
• Update the Global IT and Analytics community with the latest advancements in data science technologies, methodologies, and best practices.

Job Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Data Analytics. 5+ years of experience in data science (AI/ML, optimization, math).
• Good knowledge of at least one of the functional areas: customer relationships and sales, e-com/freight forwarding/express/logistics operations, and service operations.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data science, with a strong understanding of programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of data scientists.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering data science projects and initiatives.
• Experience working Agile and DevOps; familiar with DataOps.
• Must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional cross-geographical teams to analyze and understand business needs.
• Good oral and written English: ready to present to a technical audience.
• Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, and Artificial intelligence.
