Job summary

Palo IT Singapore is seeking a Senior Data Scientist with strong GenAI, MLOps, and cloud experience. You will build GenAI-powered applications and accelerate software and data development for diverse industries.

Responsibilities include deploying GenAI workflows, collaborating with data engineers, and ensuring governance and responsible AI practices while delivering AI products for Financial Services, Healthcare, Maritime and Retail sectors.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Science / AI roles.
• Strong background in GenAI, LLMs, NLP, and model fine-tuning.
• Hands-on with at least one public cloud (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable).
• Python proficiency (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, MLflow).
• Experience deploying ML/GenAI applications using Kubernetes or serverless.

YOUR ROLE:

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with strong experience in Generative AI (GenAI), MLOps, and applied machine learning on public cloud platforms. The role involves building GenAI-powered applications and leveraging GenAI for accelerating software and data development.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE

• 8+ years of experience in Data Science / AI roles.
• Strong background in GenAI, LLMs, NLP, and model fine-tuning.
• Hands-on with at least one public cloud (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable).
• Python proficiency (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, MLflow).
• Experience deploying ML/GenAI applications using Kubernetes or serverless.

GOOD TO HAVE

• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or GCP Vertex AI.
• MLOps tooling (Kubeflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI pipelines, Azure ML).
• Domain expertise in Financial Services, Healthcare, Maritime, or Retail.
• Knowledge of AI governance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., MAS, GDPR, PDPA).
