Senior Data Scientist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Data Scientist to drive actionable insights and advanced analytical solutions within our client’s organization. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of data models, ensuring they deliver measurable improvements to business performance, customer engagement, and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary source of data insights, supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders with valuable, actionable information.
• Analyze complex datasets and transform findings into meaningful business insights, drawing from a variety of customer touchpoints and data sources.
• Lead the creation and execution of advanced quantitative frameworks, such as scalable predictive models, customer segmentation strategies, and advertising optimization techniques, to enhance business outcomes.
• Champion data science best practices, tools, and methodologies, establishing high standards across teams and projects.
• Develop internal benchmarks and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in analytical processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, capture data requirements, and resolve any conflicting data or architectural issues.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance policies regarding customer data and facilitate effective data measurement through accurate data capture.
• Become an internal expert on the client’s data tools and resources, guiding the organization in leveraging these assets effectively.
• Support ad-hoc business intelligence requests and strategic initiatives across the company.

Qualifications:

• A PhD or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in data science, with a proven track record of developing and deploying data models, including recommendation systems.
• Strong expertise in applying a wide range of analytical techniques to solve commercial challenges, with proficiency in at least one statistical analysis tool.
• Hands-on experience with distributed databases and query languages, along with proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
• Exceptional business acumen with the ability to identify core business objectives, interpret diverse quantitative data, and generate actionable insights for key stakeholders.
