Job summary

SingHealth Group seeks a Senior/Analyst in Data Science for the Office of DGCMIO (Research). You will design and operate data pipelines across clinical, operational and imaging datasets, ensuring data quality and governance.

The role supports scalable data science platforms for researchers and clinicians in Singapore. The successful candidate will work with SQL, Python and R, and leverage modern data engineering tools in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• STEM degree with 1.5+ years experience, or non-STEM degree with 4+ years.
• Fresh Graduates are welcome; Analyst, Data Science role.
• Experience in data engineering, data architecture or analytics platforms.
• SQL, Python and/or R, ETL/ELT, data modelling and data quality management.
• Healthcare data, cloud data platforms or CI/CD and containerisation advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills; proactive data management.
• Ability to collaborate with researchers, clinicians and tech teams.
• Adaptable and fast learner; comfortable with new domains.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines across diverse datasets.
• Validate, reconcile and standardise controls for data quality.
• Operate and improve data platforms; monitor, troubleshoot and optimise services.
• Curate datasets and maintain metadata, catalogs and dictionaries.
• Implement access controls, de-identification and secure data linkage.
• Automate processes and translate stakeholder requirements into solutions.
