Job summary

You will assess risks, design secure data-sharing arrangements and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across the organization.

The role involves developing governance policies, liaising with government agencies, and embedding privacy into daily operations. A strong background in data incidents and audits is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• 7+ years in data governance, data protection or data security.
• Experience developing data policies, standards and frameworks.
• Experience with data lifecycle management or master data management.
• Experience with risk assessments or IT/business audits.
• Experience in data incident management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct assessments relating to data security risk and personal data protection.
• Work with stakeholders to establish secure data-sharing arrangements.
• Support data incident management and enterprise data risk activities.
• Review, develop and communicate data governance policies, standards and guidelines.
• Liaise with government agencies on data protection submissions.
• Ensure privacy and security requirements are integrated into daily operations.
• Conduct research and track metrics to improve data governance processes.
