Job summary

MANPOWER STAFFING SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to own the enterprise data platform operations. You will design, implement, and manage large-scale environments using Cloudera and Talend Big Data, ensuring high availability, security, and performance for batch and real-time workloads.

You will lead automation via Terraform and Ansible, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with data engineers and business teams to deliver reliable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in data platform engineering or big data operations.
• Hands-on experience with Cloudera CDP and Hadoop ecosystem.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of data platform security and access controls.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability and reliability of data platform (Cloudera, Talend).
• Deliver scalable, performant data infra for batch and near real-time workloads.
• Enable secure and compliant data operations per regulatory requirements.
• Improve platform automation and operational efficiency via IaC and DevOps.
• Provide platform support and guidance to data engineers, analysts, and business teams.
