Job summary

sggovterp is seeking a Senior/Executive Data Engineer for Traffic & Road IT. You will own and scale the data infrastructure, bridging hands-on pipeline development with AWS cloud architecture, and driving CI/CD automation across agile squads.

You will establish data quality checks, maintain robust ETL/ELT processes, and document data dictionaries and operational manuals for long-term health.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data engineering, data analytics, or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of data engineering concepts including data modelling and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python; basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Own, build, and scale the data infrastructure powering analytics and applications.
• Bridge hands-on pipeline development with cloud architecture and CI/CD automation.
• Maintain data quality checks and robust ETL/ELT processes across the data lifecycle.
• Create and maintain data dictionaries and operational manuals; support post-deployment health.
