Job summary

Maybank Securities (MSSG) is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, develop and support data integration solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS. You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver reliable ETL processes and reporting platforms.

The role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving ability and a track record of delivering data solutions across development, testing and production environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in database development, data engineering or data integration.
• Hands-on MS SQL Server and SSIS experience.
• Strong SQL/T-SQL and data transformation skills.
• Experience with ETL design and data quality controls.
• Experience across development, testing and production environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain SQL Server databases and data solutions.
• Develop, enhance and support SSIS packages for ETL.
• Build reliable ETL processes across multiple source and target systems.
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries, procedures and views.
• Monitor jobs and data-processing activities.
