Job summary

JOBLINE RESOURCES PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced data engineer to design, develop, and maintain data solutions for generation, collection, and processing.

You will create data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement ETL processes to migrate data across systems. You will lead a team, collaborate across multiple teams, and transform datasets using SQL and Python on Databricks / PySpark. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 4-5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and automation.
• Hands-on experience with dashboards (Tableau/Power BI or equivalent).
• Familiarity with Databricks or similar big data platforms.
• Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.
• Experience in testing (SIT/UAT) or QA processes.
• Knowledge of Spark for distributed processing.
• Understanding of Git or other version control systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Data Engineering, Data Access and Data Migrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data solutions for generation, collection, and processing.
• Create data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement ETL processes for migration and deployment.
• Lead and collaborate with the team to perform effectively.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Query, clean, and transform datasets using SQL and Python on Databricks / PySpark.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across systems per standards.
• Build, enhance, and maintain dashboards for data monitoring and analytics.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate data requirements into insights.
