Job summary

Modec Offshore Production Systems (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Engineer, Information Systems to design, build, operate, and improve data stores, ETL/ELT pipelines, and BI solutions. You will support data governance, ensure data quality, and contribute to scalable architectures in a challenging offshore oil & gas environment.

Responsibilities include developing SQL/Python ETL, designing practical data models, and delivering Power BI reports with secure access.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in IT/CS/Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years in Data Engineering/Data Analytics within the Oil & Gas EPC industry.
Experience deploying an end-to-end data solution; oil & gas domain experience preferred.
PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst Associate) certification.

Responsibilities

Develop ETL/ELT using SQL and Python; enforce standards and naming conventions.
Design data models and optimise SQL; utilise incremental refresh and aggregations.
Ensure data quality via tests, validations, schema checks, and alerts; incident response.
Design, build, and operate Power BI reports/dashboards with RLS/OLS; monitor KPIs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather BI requirements; maintain documentation.
