Job summary

Argyll Scott Asia is partnering with a fast-growing consumer technology business to hire a Senior Data Engineer. You will design scalable data platforms, build robust pipelines, and support analytics and machine learning initiatives across the business.

You will design cloud-based data pipelines, build data models and datasets for analytics, and collaborate with ML engineers to enable real-time inference and recommendations. The role emphasizes CI/CD, testing, monitoring and data quality.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering with SQL, Python and data modelling.
• Hands-on with modern cloud data stacks (BigQuery, dbt, Airflow) and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Experience supporting ML data pipelines, recommender systems or real-time personalisation.
• Strong communication and collaboration across engineering, product and analytics teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable cloud-based data pipelines and modern data warehouses.
• Build robust data models and high-quality datasets for analytics and product teams.
• Partner with ML Engineers to enable model training, real-time inference and recommendations.
• Drive CI/CD, testing, monitoring, data quality and platform reliability.
