Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd is seeking a Data Engineer to advance data pipelines, modelling, and analytics for GovTech projects in Singapore. You will own data ingestion, transformation, and serving, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver secure and scalable data products.

The role focuses on building reliable pipelines, applying data quality controls, and enabling analytics and ML use cases across cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in data engineering or a closely related field.
• Experience building production-grade data pipelines (ETL/ELT, CDC, streaming).
• Proficiency with AWS or Azure cloud data services and data modelling.

Responsibilities

• Own data pipelines from ingestion to serving across enterprise systems.
• Design data architectures for cloud-native and hybrid environments.
• Implement automated data validation, quality checks, and lineage.
• Develop reusable data products for dashboards, reporting, and ML use cases.
• Collaborate with platform, security, and application teams on data interfaces.
