Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years in database development, data engineering or data integration.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

You will be responsible for designing, developing and supporting data integration solutions, databases, ETL processes and management reporting platforms. The role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving ability and experience working with business and technology stakeholders.

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and supporting SSIS packages.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and T-SQL.
• Experience with stored procedures, functions, views, triggers and SQL Server Agent jobs.
• Strong understanding of ETL design and data-integration principles.
• Experience with query optimisation, indexing and database performance tuning.Experience handling large data volumes and complex data transformations.
• Experience troubleshooting failed jobs, data issues and production incidents.
