Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking an IT Security Expert (SME) specializing in Data & Endpoint Security to lead escalation, manage incidents, and drive security operations. The role emphasizes DLP, endpoint protection, and regulatory compliance within a financial-sector mindset.

The candidate will own change and problem management, oversee forensic investigations, and push for automation and continuous improvement while maintaining thorough technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, CS, or Engineering.
• CISSP preferred; Symantec Expert highly preferred.
• 8–10 years of IT security experience with DLP and endpoint tech.
• Strong ITIL knowledge and risk-based security management.

Responsibilities

• Escalation lead for the team and coordinate technical resolutions.
• Own incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Lead DLP/endpoint security administration and troubleshooting.
• Participate in projects: upgrades, migrations, end-of-life transitions.
• Ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct forensic investigations for high-severity incidents.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement.
• Maintain technical documentation.
