Job summary

pro-matrix pte ltd seeks a Senior Operations Manager to lead FM and technical service operations across data centres and critical facilities. You will supervise resident and mobile teams to fulfill contractual commitments, respond promptly to customers, manage operational risks and control delivery costs.

Qualifications

• Seven years of M&E, facilities or maintenance experience with leadership of teams or multiple accounts
• Data centre or critical-facility experience strongly preferred
• Practical understanding of electrical and mechanical infrastructure, maintenance planning and incident recovery
• Experience managing SLAs, customer escalations, manpower, vendors and budgets
• Strong leadership, judgement, communication and reporting skills; able to work outside normal hours when required

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned FM and Service operations with clear ownership of each account, activity and deliverable
• Plan preventive and corrective maintenance, service requests, emergency response and ad-hoc works against schedules and SLAs
• Review performance, backlogs and overdue actions; assign owners and deadlines
• Resolve resource and scope conflicts between teams while protecting site coverage and maintenance schedules
• Oversee mobilisation and handover of new contracts with defined scope, staffing and procedures
• Engage with customers, provide timely updates and close service issues
• Lead operational review meetings and track complaints and recovery actions to completion
• Manage client expectations against scope and escalate variations to Commercial
• Ensure operational reports are accurate and supported by maintenance records
• Coordinate with BD or Client Management on concerns affecting retention
• Lead incident response, root-cause analyses and preventive actions
• Review risk assessments, SOPs, MOPs, EOPs and change controls
• Maintain emergency readiness and business continuity through drills
• Set responsibilities, performance expectations and KPIs for site leaders and teams
• Plan manpower, rosters and succession; ensure competency
• Maintain training plans for technical work, communication, documentation and safety
• Collaborate with HR on recruitment and development
• Maintain regular site engagement and escalate material risks
