Make an Impact by:

1. Leading and managing cloud data lake or solution initiatives, including designing and selecting SaaS or software for data processing, pipelines for ETL, Streaming, analytics, AI/ML, and APIs.
2. Establishing and leading Day 2 operation processes, SLO/SLA, data off-premise clearance, and security governance for cloud data pipelines.
3. Managing Networks data governance for the department and supporting Group data governance and data protection frameworks.
4. Performing as Tier 3 Systems SME, accountable for overall system performance and design, change management outcomes, executing software upgrades, managing vendors, and debating solutions for optimal performance.
5. Leading and managing Tier 2 Systems Administration & Support.
6. Ensuring system security, managing Anti-Malware systems, performing monthly security scans, analyzing security reports, and managing firewalls with quarterly rule reviews.
7. Being responsible for Information Security governance, serving as the Security representative for the department or division.
8. Architecting network and IP address designs, and implementing data protection and security measures.
9. Leading incident management, providing timely updates, and conducting root cause analysis.
10. Conducting R&D or POC on new technologies or vendor proposals.
11. Ensuring operational processes are well documented, including inventories, solution documentation, network design, and SOPs.
12. Leading system audits, overseeing security review submissions, and managing Business Continuity Management for the department.

Skills for Success:

1. Degree in Engineering or IT.
2. At least 5 years’ experience in data solution and administration.
3. Experience with Cloud Data solutions (AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.), on-premise data platforms like HPE Ezmeral, Stream data platforms like Kafka and Confluent, and system implementations.
4. Knowledge of Data Architect, mapR, Hadoop, Spark (or equivalent).
5. Proficiency in Linux/Unix, Ansible automation, Shell Scripting, Kubernetes, Docker, serverless functions, APIs, Kafka bus, Network, IP Address, and Security design.
