Job summary

Singapore LNG Corporation Pte Ltd is seeking a dynamic cybersecurity professional to lead the design, implementation, and operation of security controls across IT and OT environments in Singapore. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive cybersecurity initiatives, monitor threats, and respond to incidents with strong technical skills and independent delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
• 3–6 years of hands-on experience across cybersecurity engineering/operations and related areas.

Responsibilities

• Cybersecurity Operations & Engineering – spearheading the implementation of cybersecurity controls across networks, endpoints, and cloud.
• Design and implement security architecture improvements (e.g. network segmentation, hardening).
• Evaluate and implement security tools and technologies.
• Drive vulnerability management, patching, and remediation activities.
• Drive improvements in cybersecurity standards and hygiene.
• Monitor and investigate security alerts, incidents, and anomalies.
• Support cyber incident responses.
• Collaborate with vendors on security monitoring effectiveness.
• Automate workflows and drive efficiency with scripting and AI.

Job description

Role

You will be responsible for spearheading the design, implementation, and operation of our cybersecurity controls to protect the organisation’s IT and OT environments against evolving cyber threats. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver cybersecurity initiatives. We are looking for candidates who are dynamic and technically strong in a wide range of areas in the field of cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Cybersecurity Operations & Engineering – spearheading the implementation of cybersecurity controls across our network, endpoints, and cloud environments
• Design and implement security architecture improvements (e.g. network segmentation, hardening)
• Evaluate and implement security tools and technologies
• Drive vulnerability management, patching, and remediation activities
• Drive improvements in cybersecurity technical standards and hygiene
• Monitor and investigate security alerts, incidents, and anomalies
• Support cyber incident responses
• Work with vendors (e.g. MSS providers) on driving effectiveness in security monitoring
• Automate workflows and drive efficiency with scripting and/or AI

Requirements / Qualifications

Education

• Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related discipline

Experience

• 3–6 years of hands‑on experience in a mix of cybersecurity engineering / operations, incident response, penetration testing / red teaming, system implementation, system/network administration, and software development

Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently in a lean team environment
