Job summary

Ensign is recruiting a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to lead cybersecurity strategy projects and major incident responses for clients in Singapore. The role involves directing simulations, providing executive guidance, and delivering hands-on support during crises.

You will develop methodologies, stay ahead of threats, and help clients mature their security programs while coordinating with management and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Hands-on experience managing real-world cyber incidents and crisis situations under pressure.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, GICSP or cloud-related certifications are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform research and analysis on regulations and policies to determine alignment and assist with development, implementation and tracking of client objectives.
• Develop methodologies and frameworks to address project objectives and drive clients toward positive business results.
• Influence and support clients in cybersecurity transformation while aligning with business objectives.
• Curate and utilize latest threat intelligence and trends in deliverables.
• Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and share insights with clients to enhance posture.
• Lead simulation exercises, post-incident reviews, and related training to improve client maturity.

• Leadintheconductofsimulationexercises,post-incidentreviews,andotherrelatedtraining,toimproveourcustomersmaturitytodetect,respondandrecoverfromcyber-relatedincidents.Thisincludesthecraftingofreportsandpresentationmaterialtodeliverfindingstoourcustomers.
• Conductrapidassessmentsofcyberincidentstoappraisethescope,andpotentialimpactonourclients’operations,infrastructure,andsensitivedata.
• Providestrategiccounseltointernalandexternalstakeholdersoncriticaldecisionsintheeventofacyber-relatedcrisis,suchasresourceallocation,communicationstrategies,andstakeholderengagement,tominimizebusinessdisruptionandreputationaldamage.
• Contributetotheconductofpost-incidentreviewsandlessonslearnedsessionswithclients’leadershipteamstoidentifyareasforimprovementandenhancepreparednessforfuturecyber-relatedcrises.

Qualifications

• MinimallyaBachelor’sdegreeinComputerScience,InformationTechnology,orarelatedfield.
• Atleast7yearsofexperienceincybersecurity
• Hands-onexperiencemanagingreal-worldcyberincidentsand/orcrisissituations,andhavingdemonstratedtheabilitytoapplytechnicalandstrategicresponsemeasuresunderpressureispreferred.
• IndustrycertificationssuchasCISSP,CISA,CISM,GICSP,Cloud-relatedcertificationsorequivalentarehighlydesired.
