You will oversee SOC operations, mentor security professionals, ensure robust security posture, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into business processes and technology initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT security experience with SOC and incident response.
• 3+ years in leadership or senior consultant role.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM, IDS/IPS, and monitoring tools.
• Experience with threat analysis and log correlation.
• Understanding of network security and firewalls.
• Proven incident response procedures and frameworks.

We are seeking an experienced Lead Consultant, IT Security with extensive Security Operations Center (SOC) experience to join our organization in Singapore. In this strategic role, you will lead our security operations team, drive security initiatives, and provide expert guidance on threat detection, incident response, and security architecture. You will be responsible for overseeing our SOC operations, mentoring security professionals, and ensuring the organization maintains a robust security posture against evolving cyber threats.

• Lead and manage SOC operations, including 24/7 monitoring, threat detection, and incident response activities
• Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies and policies aligned with organizational objectives
• Analyze security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and provide detailed recommendations for remediation
• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and optimization of security tools and technologies (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection)
• Mentor and develop security team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability management, and penetration testing to identify and address security gaps
• Provide strategic security recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls)
• Manage security incidents from detection through resolution, documenting lessons learned
• Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends to enhance organizational defenses
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into business processes and technology initiatives

**Required Skills & Experience:**

• 7+ years of experience in IT security with a focus on SOC operations and incident response
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership or senior consultant role managing security operations
• Advanced knowledge of SIEM platforms, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security monitoring tools
• Expertise in threat analysis, log analysis, and security event correlation
• Strong understanding of network security, firewall management, and network protocols
• Proficiency in incident response procedures and frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex security data and identify patterns and anomalies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities

**Preferred Skills & Experience:**

• Experience with threat intelligence platforms and threat hunting methodologies
• Knowledge of vulnerability management and patch management processes
• Familiarity with cloud security and containerized environments
• Experience with managed security services (MSS) or security consulting
• Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and security auditing
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSK, CEH, or GIAC certifications (GCIH, GCIA, GSEC)
• Experience with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) platforms
• Background in security architecture and design
