Job summary

Eames Consulting is assisting a leading financial services organisation in Singapore to hire a Senior Cyber Security Engineer. This hands-on role strengthens enterprise security operations, manages security technologies and drives improvements across managed security services.

You will work across infrastructure, cloud, applications and emerging technologies to boost cyber resilience, with responsibilities including operating security platforms, implementing controls and supporting incident

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Operations, Security Engineering, Managed Security Services or Infrastructure Security.
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as SIEM, SOAR, WAF, IDS/IPS, Endpoint Security, Vulnerability Management or Cloud Security.
• Good understanding of security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management and security best practices.
• Experience with scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell or Bash is an advantage.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills. Relevant cybersecurity certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and enhance enterprise managed security services and security platforms.
• Implement, configure and optimise security controls across infrastructure, cloud, applications and identity environments.
• Manage and support security technologies including SIEM, WAF, IDS/IPS, Email Security, Endpoint Security and Vulnerability Management.
• Monitor security events, support incident response and continuously improve security controls.
• Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery and platform performance.
• Support security projects, AI security initiatives and continuous improvement across the cybersecurity environment.
