Job summary

SCIENTE is seeking a Senior Cyber Ops Specialist to raise security standards and enable proactive cyber posture across agencies. The role emphasizes deep expertise in testing, secure design, and governance, with leadership in red team activities and secure DevOps integration.

You will build and enforce organization-wide testing frameworks, mentor teams, and drive continuous improvement in vulnerability management, threat detection, and secure software development practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering.
• 8 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with deep offensive security and app security.
• Proven penetration testing across web apps, on-prem and cloud, and complex networks.
• Strong source code review to find logic, injection and cryptographic flaws.
• Experience identifying testing gaps and providing actionable feedback.
• Proficiency with enterprise security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, VAPT) and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience in cloud and DevOps environments, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain organization-wide frameworks and SOPs for security testing (VAPT).
• Lead advanced operations, including Red Team exercises and adversary simulations.
• Establish secure coding standards and integrate security into DevOps pipelines (DevSecOps).
• Oversee source code analysis (SAST, SCA) and recommend tools to improve code quality.
• Monitor threats and trends to update testing standards and security practices.
• Advise senior stakeholders and project teams to foster a security-focused culture.

We are looking for a Senior Cyber Ops Specialist (Security Services) with deep expertise in security testing and Secure-by-Design practices to help agencies adopt consistent, high-quality security standards and a proactive cyber posture.

You will play a key role in building a safe and secure digital eco-environment through strong cybersecurity governance and operational excellence.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering;
• Must have 8 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, with strong depth in offensive security and application security;
• Proven expertise in penetration testing across web applications, on-prem and cloud systems, and complex networks;
• Strong capability in manual and automated source code review to identify logic, injection, and cryptographic flaws;
• Experience in identify patterns in testing gaps or recurring code vulnerabilities and provide actionable feedback;
• Proficiency with enterprise security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, VAPT) and adversary frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK;
• Experience in cloud and DevOps environments, including CI/CD pipelines;
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Desired Skill-set

• Certifications: OSCP, OSWE, CASE, GWEB, CISSP.

• Lead advanced technical operations, including Red Team exercises, deep-dive penetration tests, and adversary simulations to uncover critical vulnerabilities;
• Establish and promote secure coding standards, driving Secure-by-Design practices and integrating security into DevOps pipelines (DevSecOps);
• Oversee source code analysis (SAST, SCA) and recommend tools to improve code quality, resilience, and vulnerability detection;
• Monitor emerging threats and technology trends to continuously update testing standards and security practices;
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, and project teams, fostering a culture of security and knowledge sharing across the organizations.
