Job summary

Recruit Ave in Singapore seeks an experienced Credit Risk professional to provide independent credit assessment and recommendations on corporate credit applications. You will challenge Business Units to resolve credit differences and determine appropriate credit decisions.

Responsibilities include reviewing CRR/FRR, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, monitoring country and industry risk, reviewing covenants, preparing risk reports, and supporting policy updates and training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Credit Risk / Credit Approval / Credit Underwriting within a bank.
• Strong experience in corporate/commercial banking credit assessment and approval.
• Good understanding of credit risk, financial analysis, industry/country risk and credit policies.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge Business Units independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent credit assessment and recommendations on corporate credit applications.
• Challenge and work with Business Units to resolve credit differences and determine appropriate credit decisions.
• Independently review Credit Risk Ratings (CRR) and Facility Risk Ratings (FRR).
• Ensure credit proposals comply with credit policies, underwriting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor country and industry risk exposures, including portfolio stress testing.
• Review financial and non-financial loan covenants.
• Prepare credit risk, portfolio and industry reports for Management.
• Support credit policy updates and provide credit training to Business Units.
