Senior Credit Risk Analyst

Job Description

• Oversee a portfolio primarily located in US, Europe, and Asia.
• Conduct thorough credit research and financial assessments while performing risk scoring for both existing and potential customers, adhering to the risk management framework.
• Prepare detailed credit memorandums for approval, providing recommendations for credit deviations or exceptions.
• Conduct regular monitoring of the portfolio through financial reviews, tracking performance metrics, and attending customer results briefings or calls.
• Identify and escalate potential credit risks, adverse developments, and market trends that could impact business operations.
• Collaborate effectively with customers, credit insurers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate deal origination, secure transaction approvals, and offer expert advice on credit matters.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills and data analysis techniques to evaluate sales, costs, and operational drivers, transforming data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Generate comprehensive credit reports that comply with internal policies and external requirements.
• Support ad hoc initiatives and special projects as needed.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, statistics, mathematics, computer science, finance, economics, or related fields.
• 7+ years of credit underwriting experience in financial institutions or fintech, with a focus on SMEs.
• Experience in cross-border trade finance, receivable finance, factoring, credit insurance, supply chain solutions, SME coverage, or related fields is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and analytical approach.
• Independent, self-motivated, mature, resilient, and able to work under pressure.
• Quick learner with teamwork skills and adaptability to multicultural environments.
