What We Are Looking For

This role supports global cost and inventory accounting operations, including quarterly inventory costing, standard cost updates, and fixed asset management. Responsibilities include maintaining product cost models, analyzing variances, and ensuring alignment with manufacturing processes. The role involves journal entries, month/quarter-end closings, and reporting on cost of sales and logistics. The position partners closely with Operations to drive cost efficiency, improve processes, and deliver accurate management reporting.

Skills You’ll Need
  • Support global cost and inventory accounting and reporting activities
  • Participate in quarterly inventory costing activities including standard cost update and forecast
  • Maintain product cost model and examine variances to ensure model remains aligned to manufacturing environment
  • Manage fixed asset forecast, additions, depreciation, and reconciliation
  • Monitor factory activities and test production absorption rate
  • Post journal entries for internal test factory and report allocation and absorption
  • Perform month-end / quarter-end closing activities in the inventory/manufacturing area
  • Seek and act on opportunities to reduce costs, improve processes, and streamline workflows
  • Partner with Operations team to forecast and analyze cost of sales and freight/logistics expenses
  • Management reporting of actuals vs. forecast/plan
Other Activities
  • Annual physical inventory count for manufacturing suppliers
  • Annual fixed assets impairment testing
  • Semi-annual financial assessment for manufacturing suppliers
  • Liaise with internal & external auditors
  • Process improvement and automation projects where applicable
  • Build and maintain effective data visualizations using Tableau
  • Any other activities assigned
Required Experience & Skills
  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent, with at least 3 years of experience in Costing or Inventory
  • Knowledge of accounting & MS Office software; SAP experience is a plus
  • Meticulous and organized
  • Willingness to take on job rotation
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
  • Experience in a multinational environment and/or semi-conductor industry preferred
