Job summary

3E Accounting Singapore invites a Legal Counsel to join its in-house team. The role focuses on corporate/commercial matters, drafting and negotiating contracts, and advising on regulatory changes relevant to Singapore and regional markets.

The candidate should have a recognised law degree, be called to the Singapore Bar, and possess at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience in law firm or in-house settings. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Recognised Degree in Law.
• Called to the Singapore Bar.
• Experience in general corporate and contract law.
• Strong drafting and negotiating skills with diplomatic communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, draft and negotiate contracts and other legal documents to ensure compliance with laws in concerned jurisdictions and protect the company’s interests.
• Provide legal advice on corporate/commercial, employment, property licensing and intellectual matters.
• Monitor changes in legal/regulatory environment in the markets where 3E Accounting operates and advise management.
• Resolve potential and actual disputes and support crisis management.
• Customise constitutions and shareholder agreements per client requirements.
• Ad-hoc duties including monitoring statutory filings and Companies Act compliance.
