Adam’s Family Catering is hiring a Senior Cook for our Seafood Indian Muslim restaurant. The role involves overseeing daily cooking, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining food quality and hygiene, and must be experienced in Indian-Muslim, Malay, Western, and seafood dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes such as nasi goreng, mee goreng, seafood, and western plates
- Ensure consistency, proper portioning, and presentation of food
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow food safety standards
- Monitor ingredients used and minimize food wastage
- Follow kitchen schedules and daily prep routines
Requirements:
- High School / Secondary School Certificate or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of kitchen and cooking experience
- Skilled in Indian-Muslim, Malay, Western, and seafood cuisine
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate required
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
