Job summary

Stemgenic Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to design, develop, and commission PLC, SCADA, HMI, and motion control systems across regional projects. You will support automation initiatives from concept through site acceptance testing and handover, collaborating with electrical panels, sensors, drives, and industrial networks.

The role requires 5–10 years in relevant control systems, with exposure to Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Omron or Schneider platforms, and

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
5–10 years of experience in PLC, SCADA, HMI, drives, and control systems.
Exposure to Siemens, Rockwell Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, Schneider, or similar platforms.
Experience in industrial manufacturing, machinery, process plants, packaging, electronics, or semiconductor automation.
Comfortable with regional travel when required.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, HMI, and motion control systems.
Support automation projects from concept through commissioning.
Work with electrical panels, instrumentation, sensors, drives, and industrial networks.
Conduct FAT, SAT, site testing, validation, and system handover.
Support manufacturing clients with troubleshooting, upgrades, and process optimization.
Work with internal project teams, vendors, and customer engineering stakeholders.
