A leading company in capital markets is seeking a Senior Consultant for a significant IT transformation project. The role involves managing the entire project lifecycle, engaging with multiple stakeholders across operations, finance, and technology. Candidates must have strong project management experience and an understanding of the trade life cycle, with a bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science. This is a consultant position commencing on 1 March 2025.

Job description

Senior Consultant with strong functional knowledge and experience in CIB Products, corporate loans and transactional regulatory reporting.

Requirement

• 14+ years experience in CIB
• Experience in implementing front to back IT transformation projects
• Mandatory functional experience and understanding of trade life cycle
• Strong PM experience in driving front to back transversal topics
• Rate transformation project is an APAC wide initiative that aims at standardizing the process of contribution, distribution and consumption of interest and FX Rates. The project’s end objective is to achieve enhances automation and standardization for rates flow thereby ensuring robustness of controls and governance around the flow. Project also aims at automating manual process and streamlining legacy to obtain process efficiency of business.
• We are looking at an IT BA/PM that can manage transformation across facets like -requirement analysis for multiple applications. Systems implementation (integration, development and testing)Process Migration , RACI definition and aftercare
• This will be a consultant position with a start date of 1 march 2025 till end of the year

Responsibilities

• Overall IT BA/PM for the program
• IT delivery Leader for the program. Working with Operations, Finance and Technology stakeholders for the target architecture implementation
• Prepare, maintain and manage project plan, delivery coordination and governance
• Perform end to end tests, plan and coordinate UAT, change management and go live support
• Functional expert on the domain performing study/analysis on multiple application output and integration feasibility
• Coordinating with other teams, front office, operations and finance stakeholders ensure onboarding, capacity planning and securing the deliverables
• Stakeholder Management, running program governance, steering committees, regular operation and working committees

Technical competencies

• Must understand architecture in a capital markets context
• Basic technical analysis skills on systems interfacing , identify gaps and propose resolutions
• Must have experience on trade life cycle
• Ability to work with stakeholders across geographics
• Previous experience in working in matrix organization

Must have skills and qualification

• Must have Bachelors degree in IT or computer science.
• Strong functional PM with global markets experience- exposure to transformation, system implementation would be a key
• Minimum 10-14 years of experience , not looking for very senior above 14 years
• Minimum 10-14 years of experience in Transversal front to back project implementation experience -Exposure of referential, trade banking , settlement, reporting, regulatory reporting , accounting.
