Job summary

IDC TECHNOLOGIES (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned technical consultant to drive detailed design, implement, and test complex solutions across multiple workstreams.

You will collaborate with Lead Consultants to translate requirements into working code, configurations, and integrations, delivering high-quality results within project timelines. The role covers solution design, testing, deployment, and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field is required.
• 6-9 years of software development, system integration, or technical consulting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience across backend, AI/ML, and DevOps domains.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization.
• Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL, Kafka, and integration patterns.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse user requirements and translate into functional designs and specs.
• Develop, configure, and optimize technical solutions and integrations.
• Implement integrations with BANK systems (API, databases, Kafka, monitoring).
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
• Configure AI capabilities like anomaly detection and automated recovery workflows.

• Troubleshoot defects and performance issues across layers.
• Lead deployment activities including data validation and cutover planning.

Job description

Role Overview

Drive detailed design, hands-on implementation, and testing of technical solutions across the three workstreams. You will work closely with Lead Consultants to translate requirements into working code, configurations, and integrations, ensuring high-quality delivery within the project timeline.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Implementation

• Analyse user requirements and translate them into functional designs, configuration documents, and detailed specifications
• Develop, configure, and optimize technical solutions for error handling, AI Ops, or feature flag management
• Implement integrations with BANK systems (API, backend services, databases, Kafka, monitoring tools)
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following best practices
• Configure and optimize AI capabilities such as anomaly detection, automated recovery workflows, and code analysis tools

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Conduct functional testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Troubleshoot defects and performance issues across application layers
• Validate solution behaviour in test and production environments
• Document test cases, results, and lessons learned

Deployment & Support

• Lead or support deployment activities including cutover planning, data validation, and defect resolution
• Provide post-go-live support and hyper care assistance
• Monitor solution performance and address issues proactively
• Create runbooks and operational documentation for BANK teams

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

• Build strong working relationships with BANK users, project managers, and team members
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support end-to-end delivery
• Prepare system demonstrations and deliver end-user training
• Contribute to team productivity, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving

Requirements

Essential

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field
• 6-9 years of relevant experience in software development, system integration, or technical consulting
• Strong hands-on experience with at least one technology area: Backend Development: Java, Python, Node.js, RESTful APIs, microservices; AI/ML: Machine learning frameworks, model deployment, monitoring and alerting; DevOps/Automation: CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies
• Proficiency in databases (SQL, NoSQL), messaging systems (Kafka), and integration patterns
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

Preferred

• Experience with financial services or banking applications
• Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, ELK)
• Knowledge of AI/ML platforms and tools
• Experience with feature flag management systems (LaunchDarkly, Split.io)
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
