We’re one of Australia’s largest privately owned, independent consultancy with an international footprint, and have been specialising in high-risk, large-scale and challenging projects since 1965.

TBH has been growing rapidly in Asia, Australia and The Middle East, but continues to be a connected, collaborative and supportive team. We have set our strategy looking ahead to 2030, to ensure we continue to meet the needs of clients and set ourselves up as a business for the future.

About the Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Consultant with a high level of experience in cost management and quantity surveying to join our Singapore Team in a part‑time capacity (3 days per week) for a contract preiod of 12 months. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in data centre projects (across planning, estimating, and delivery stages) and corporate office fit‑out projects, coupled with strong cost management acumen, commercial expertise, and a desire to work across a diverse range of projects in a rewarding and positive environment.

This role includes occasional regional travel—mainly between Malaysia, Singapore, and other APAC locations (around one day per month to Singapore). You’ll be part of TBH’s growing Asia Cost Management team, working on diverse projects across the data centre, commercial fit‑out, and energy/infrastructure sectors, with plenty of flexibility, regional exposure, and opportunities to grow within a dynamic consultancy.

As our Senior Consultant you’ll be responsible for conducting forensic investigations to provide and maintain accurate cost estimates and reporting throughout the project lifecycle. You will also work across a wide variety of assignments including:

  • Strategic advisory services to support investment and business case decisions.
  • Lender’s Technical Advisory (LTA) roles across major projects.
  • Disputes, claims and variation assessments, including expert advice and report preparation.
  • Cost control, estimating and benchmarking throughout all project phases.
  • Commercial advisory and contract management.
What you’ll bring

As our successful candidate you’ll bring:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 8+ years’ post‑graduate experience in cost management or quantity surveying role.
  • Proven experience in data centre projects (planning, estimating, and delivery stages).
  • Proven experience in corporate office fit‑out projects.
  • Strong client‑facing and leadership skills – able to work proactively and independently.
  • Professional membership (or working towards) with AIQS, RICS, RISM, or SISV.
  • Experience in strategic advisory, LTA, and disputes/claims assessment.
  • Experienced in contract administration, change management and commercial analysis.
  • Proficiency in digital tools such as CostX, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
