What will you do
Implementation & Solution Design
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP FICO solutions based on business and regulatory requirements.
- Drive end-to-end SAP FICO implementations, including blueprinting, requirement gathering, gap analysis, and testing.
- Design and optimize financial processes such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
Business Process Consulting & Integration
- Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, translating business needs into SAP solutions.
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, PS, HCM) and third-party applications.
- Optimize financial reporting and controlling processes to support decision-making.
Support, Enhancements & Customizations
- Provide expert-level functional support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for SAP FICO users.
- Drive system enhancements and custom developments by collaborating with technical teams (ABAP, BASIS, Security).
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, tax regulations, and other financial standards.
Testing, Migration & Compliance
- Develop and execute unit, integration, and UAT test cases to ensure system stability and compliance.
- Support data migration and reconciliation during SAP rollouts or upgrades.
- Ensure SOX compliance, audit readiness, and internal financial controls in SAP systems.
Project Management & Leadership
- Lead SAP FICO projects, including upgrades, enhancements, and rollouts.
- Mentor junior consultants and provide knowledge transfer to business users and IT teams.
- Stay updated with SAP S/4HANA Finance innovations and recommend adoption strategies.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- SAP FICO Certification
- SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification (Preferred but highly desirable)
- 7-10 years of experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant with full-cycle implementation experience.
- Deep expertise in SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking, Taxation) and SAP CO (CCA, PCA, IO, COPA, Product Costing).
- Strong knowledge of SAP Project Systems (PS), including Project Definition, WBS Elements, Budgeting, and Cost Management.
- Proven experience in financial consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori applications for financial processes.
- Strong understanding of global financial operations, multi-company, and multi-currency environments.
- Experience integrating SAP FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, PS, HCM) and third-party applications.
- Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly preferred.
- Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BW, or other financial reporting tools.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation) for financial planning and analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead financial transformation projects.
- Proven experience in mentoring junior consultants and conducting knowledge transfer.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
