Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to ensure successful delivery of high-impact projects within the bank.
  • Lead and support the development and implementation of project management processes, frameworks, and best practices across multiple business units.
  • Oversee project portfolio management, ensuring all projects align with business priorities and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Coordinate effectively between the Tokyo Head Office and APAC branches, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across regions.
  • Facilitate coordination between five working groups at the regional level, all located in client’s Singapore Branch, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Proactively manage risks, ensuring that both anticipated and emerging risks are addressed promptly and continuously throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide timely and effective problem-solving support to overcome obstacles and keep projects on track.
  • Prepare and present detailed project plans, status reports, and risk management documentation to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of discussions, decisions, and reports, ensuring all project-related information is accurately recorded and easily accessible.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project charters, schedules, and reports.
  • Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and reviews to drive alignment, progress, and decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in any field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Project Management Office (PMO), particularly in risk and problem management.
  • Experience working in a consulting firm is a must.
  • Experience managing multiple projects or coordinating across various systems/branches simultaneously.
  • Strong logical thinking, with the ability to effectively document and communicate complex information.
  • Must have good communication skill in English (both spoken and written). Able to speak in Japanese language in order to liaise with Japanese speaking stakeholders and client.
  • Knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and GigaCC is a plus.
