Senior Consultant - Network Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
2. Configure and troubleshoot Cisco and Palo Alto Networks security solutions, including:
3. Palo Alto Firewalls (3400 series, 5200 series).
4. Check Point Firewalls (7000, 6000 series) with Smart Console R81.
5. Manage and implement F5 Load Balancer and Alcatel Lucent Technologies (switches, wireless controllers, and access points).
6. Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.
7. Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network security aligns with business objectives.
9. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.

Relevant Experience:

1. Experience with network security technologies, including:
2. Firewalls (Palo Alto, Check Point).
3. Load Balancers (F5).
4. Switches and wireless controllers (Alcatel Lucent).
5. Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).
6. Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
7. Experience with network address translation (H-NAT, SNAT) and IP spoofing.
8. Experience with server management, including:
9. DNS.
10. DHCP.
11. IPAM.
12. Experience with Linux platforms, including Redhat and CentOS.
13. Experience with firewall rule management, including:
14. Rule clean-up and optimization.
15. Rule implementation with ITSM portal.
16. Experience with Firemon appliance for firewall rule monitoring and reporting.
17. Experience with quarterly unused firewall rule clean-up and reporting.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 10 years of experience in network security, with a focus on design, implementation, and maintenance of secure network architectures.
2. Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP-Security) certification.
3. Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification.
4. Cisco Certified Specialist SD-WAN certification.
5. Experience in banking or financial services is desirable.
6. Strong understanding of security principles, threat management, and compliance.
