Job description

The main responsibility is to provide services related to HR policy consulting, advice on various labor issues, and other HR-related services to clients mainly in the Asia Oceania region (primarily internal clients under Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) group) under the supervision of Managers.

Execute HR consulting projects under supervision of superiors.

  • Develop and design HR policies such as Grade, Remuneration, Appraisal, and Performance Management to address clients’ issues.
  • Conduct job evaluations.
  • Manage entire HR consulting projects including proposing solutions, planning schedules, arranging meetings, leading communication with clients and stakeholders, creating deliverables, handling payments/invoicing, and closing projects.
  • Provide advice on miscellaneous labor issues in each country in partnership with local experts and the legal department.

Support the implementation and operation of HR policies for MC offices.

  • Implement MC’s HR policies at MC overseas offices primarily in the Asia Oceania region and support operations such as appraisal processes, salary & bonus reviews, and training HR managers/staff at each office.

Relationship management

  • Build trustful relationships with clients, partners, parent companies, and other stakeholders.

Workshops & Seminars

  • Develop, plan, and implement new and/or customized training programs and content, including:
  • Organizing workshops/seminars
  • Creating materials and content for workshops/seminars
  • Liaising with external vendors for training program development and planning

Collaborate with the Global HR department of Mitsubishi Corporation, the ARH department in MC-Singapore branch, and HR members of MC offices and MC group companies in the AO region.

Requirements

  • Knowledge, skills, and experience in HR consulting.
  • Knowledge of organizational design, HR due diligence, and global HR is preferred.
  • Preferably 3-5 years of experience as a Manager in an HR consultancy firm, HRBP, or planning role in a non-consultancy firm.
  • Experience in HR management, project management in HR policy implementation, and job evaluation.
  • High proficiency in Business English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Proficiency in Business Japanese is not required but will be considered an advantage, especially for communication with Japanese counterparts or clients.
