ABeam Consulting (Singapore) is seeking an experienced Data Governance SME to partner with Finance, Risk, and IT in delivering data governance and regulatory reporting initiatives within banking clients.

You will lead KDE identification, data lineage, and quality controls, while coordinating with BCBS239 programs and stakeholders to ensure alignment with governance frameworks and project objectives.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or a related discipline within financial services, preferably banking.
• Experience supporting data governance, regulatory reporting, risk data, or data transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or a related discipline within the financial services industry, preferably in banking.
• Experience supporting data governance, regulatory reporting, risk data, or data transformation initiatives.
• Proven ability to facilitate workshops and drive stakeholder alignment across business and IT teams.
• Hands‑on experience with data governance concepts, including data ownership, data quality, data lineage, and controls.
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Experience working with Risk Management, Finance, or Accounting functions, particularly in regulatory or management reporting, will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of BCBS239, RDARR, or similar regulatory data programs will be preferred.
• Experience identifying Key Data Elements (KDEs), documenting end-to-end data lineage and data flows, and implementing data quality controls and monitoring processes will be preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with data governance or data lineage tools (e.g., Collibra) will be an advantage.
• Understanding of regulatory reporting, internal reporting, finance/accounting processes, and related systems will be beneficial.
• Experience working with Japanese financial institutions will be advantageous.
• Project management experience, including progress tracking, issue management, risk management, and stakeholder management, will be preferred.
• Experience preparing reports and presenting updates to senior management and executives will be an advantage.
