Job summary

Infosys Consulting in Singapore seeks an experienced AI leader to define strategy and architecture for AI initiatives. You will lead the design and implementation of AI platforms and use cases, while driving the MLOps lifecycle from development to monitoring.

A mentoring role includes supporting junior data scientists and AI engineers. The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in AI/ML with a proven delivery record, a CS/Data Science degree, strong coding skills in Python/Java/C++, and hands-on

Qualifications

• 8–10 years overall experience with 2–3 years in ML/AI and strong delivery record
• Degree in computer science, data science, or related quantitative field
• Expertise in Python, Java, or C++ with MLOps tools
• Experience working with LLMs and fine-tuning locally hosted models
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Job description

Responsibilities

• Define and help with AI strategy and architecture
• Lead the design and implementation of AI platform and use cases
• Drive MLOps strategy across the machine learning lifecycle (development to monitoring)
• Lead a team, mentor and support junior team members (data scientists, AI engineers etc)

Skills and qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years of overall experience. At least 2-3 years of experience in machine learning and AI, with a strong delivery record.
• A degree (bachelors/masters) in computer science, data science, or a related quantitative field
• Expertise in coding in Python, Java, or C++ and MLOps tools
• Experience working with LLMs and fine tuning of locally hosted models
• Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible and creative thinker with the ability to define business trade-offs .
• Strong quantitative skills with a “data first” mindset. Ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
• A proven track record of success in fast-paced environments with demanding timelines.
